The mission of School Food Services is to provide adequate nutrition for the students and equip them with the knowledge that will enable them to make wise nutritional choices throughout life.
Meal Charge Procedures
The McCormick County School District uses an electronic meal purchasing system. This system will allow staff to purchase meals on a daily, weekly, monthly and/or yearly basis. When a staff member sets up a meal account, the cost of the meal will automatically be deducted whenever he/she eats.
All students are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost. We are able to provide breakfast and lunch free to all students as a result of the National Food Service Program guidelines.
All students will be offered a meal approved by the USDA.
