We are so proud of our students who are attending coding camp this week during intersession. Ms. Jillian Coffin is working with PTC McCormick to teach the coding camp this week. Teamwork! Way to go!
We are incredibly proud of our students in the McCormick County School District. Six students from McCormick Middle School attended Culinary Camp in Greenwood, under the direction of Chef Jay Hancock. I look forward to seeing our students become accomplished chefs in the near future! Happy Cooking.

Due to the ongoing water outage, the Educational Complex will be dismissing early today at 9:30 AM.
Buses will begin rolling out at 9:30 AM to start dropping off students.
Car riders should be picked up promptly at 9:30 AM.
Please make arrangements to receive your child accordingly. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work through this issue with county officials.
Stay safe, and thank you for your support!

The Educational Complex is currently without water, just like several other parts of the county. We are actively working with county officials to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Please be advised that this may lead to an early dismissal today, depending on how quickly service is restored. We will keep you informed and give you updates as soon as we make the decisions. We are looking forward to welcoming State Superintendent of Education, Ellen Weaver, to MCSD on Thursday, September 18th. For those of you who have registered to attend the luncheon, doors will open at 10:30 am. Parking for the event will be in front of McCormick Elementary School and McCormick Middle School. You may enter through the McCormick Middle School gym entrance.
As a reminder, we do have a clear bag policy in place. Non-transparent bags will not be permitted for the event. Should you have any questions regarding the clear bag policy or the luncheon, please feel free to reach out to us. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) recently completed another service project, bagging 500 bags of produce for the Golden Harvest Food Bank!

We have a home game this Friday night as McCormick takes on Washington-Wilkes at 7:30 PM. This will also be Teacher Night, so come out and help us celebrate and show our appreciation for all the educators who make a difference in our students’ lives.

MCSD will be partnering with Piedmont Technical College to offer 2 camps during Intercession. McCormick County School District has six slots for each camp that will be available for our students to attend. If you are interested in attending the coding or culinary camp, please email Mrs. Rapp. You must have transportation to the school each day, and the bus will take McCormick students to Piedmont Tech. Please only email Mrs. Rapp if you are really interested in attending on or before September 8.
