GOAL ~ TRUST THE PROCESS: By June 2024, MHS will increase student growth within specific content area by 3% through use of varied data and personalized learning. ALERT: Senior students and parents: We are so grateful to have completed at least 80% of the senior IGP meetings. The senior year is an exciting time. IGP meetings are crucial during the senior year. Parents, if you and your child has not met with the guidance department for his/her IGP meeting, you will need to contact the guidance department on Monday morning to set your meeting. Junior parents/students: Sign-ups for your IGP meeting will begin October 23 and run through October 31. Meetings will be held during the month of November. Parents, please make sure your child signs up through their Google invitation from Ms. Maria Langley beginning the 23rd. Good afternoon, As MCSD will be on a two-hour delay tomorrow morning, August 31, the morning PTC McCormick and Greenwood students, and the morning Abbeville County Career Center students will not attend class in-person. If your specific site has virtual/online learning, you are expected to log in for class. The afternoon ACCC and PTC Greenwood students will attend class as normal. If there are any changes, you will be notified.

As the district is dismissing school at 12 noon because of inclement weather…. If you attend PTC Greenwood or ACCC and you do not have any classes on the MHS campus before noon, you do not have to attend school today.

Good Morning Chiefs, This is Dr. Hembree from McCormick County School District with an important weather update. Due to the weather that is being forecasted for later this afternoon and into the evening, we will be dismissing at noon today (Wednesday, 8/30). Hurricane Idalia is expected to bring high winds and several inches of rain to our area. All students will be served breakfast and lunch today. Additionally, all students who normally attend Abbeville Career Center and Piedmont Technical College will not be sent this morning.
