Good Morning MES Parents and Guardians,
We are excited that today is the day for our Christmas program. If you plan to attend the PTO meeting at 1:00 enter the MES office before 1:00.
If you are planning to only come to the program, you will enter through the MMS Gym doors ( where the basketball games are held). Remember that MCSD has a clear bag policy.
If you have completed the paperwork to have your child early dismissed, 1 person will be allowed to walk to the child's classroom once you are dismissed from the program. All others should exit the same way you entered. Once you pick your child up from the teacher's homeroom, you and your child will be checked out at the exit doors by the Elementary School Car Rider line, or the front doors by the office.

Good Afternoon MES Parents,
Please listen carefully regarding our program tomorrow. All students may wear school-appropriate pajamas, however, no slippers are allowed. Arrive early and be seated before 1:45. We have a clear bag policy for all events. If you want your child to be dismissed following the program, we must have already received your letter/permission slip. One parent will be allowed to go to the child's classroom following the program to pick them up. They must show their ID to the teacher and again to the staff at the door as they exit the building. Anyone not turning in this form, will have to go to the main office, tell us your child will be a car rider, and then go to the car rider line to wait for your child. We appreciate in advance your patience and understanding with our staff as we do our best to plan so everything goes smoothly.
It's almost the weekend! We can't wait to see the program next week. We hope you can come join us.

MES would like to recognize Bethany Masonic Lodge #415 for their generous donations. They donated supplies such as glue, paper, pencils, and other school supplies in addition to a check that can be used for clubs and field trips. MES would like to extend a very special thank you to the Rotary Club of E-Club of the Carolinas for their generous donation of school supplies for one of our classes. Ms. Bryson and her students are excited to enjoy the STEM indoor recess activities along with many other supplies they will use in their room.

We have several events going on next week and wanted to give you an early heads-up to prepare for these. MES students can dress up to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. See the flyer for each day's theme. We want to thank our Student Council for proposing these activities and Mrs. Hutcheson, our guidance counselor for providing classroom lessons related to Red Ribbon Week.
In addition, MHS is now selling "footprints" that MES students can purchase in memory of a loved one who has had cancer. These will be displayed around the classroom doors. If you would like for your child to purchase one, please send $1 for each print you'd like to purchase no later than next Tuesday. You are invited to come out to the event. See the flyer for details.
