The JV basketball game vs. Anderson Cavaliers that was scheduled for today (1-9-25) has been canceled.

Because of the possibility of inclement weather on Friday, the JV and Varsity basketball games that were scheduled for that day will now be played on Thursday (1-9-25), starting with the JV game. The JV and Varsity games will be played in the MMS gym, and the middle school games will be played in the MHS gym starting at 5 pm.

Congratulations to Markese Stevens for being named to the South Carolina Football Coaches Association (SCFCA) All-State football team as a defensive back.


Due to wind advisory, the Abbeville County Career Center afternoon students will not attend today. Classes will resume tomorrow, January 7.

Students from Ms. Strong and selected students from Ms. Coffin's classes attend a session with Mr. Wes Byne at MMS. Mr. Byne discussed computers, coding, and the importance of specific skills when using computers. He also spoke about engineering as it related to computer science.

We are so proud of Jakeya! Way to Go!
On Thursday, December 5th, Jakeya attended the SC Summit on Early Childhood in Columbia, SC. She attended sessions on:
- How We Can Promote Healthy, Equitable Child Development in Today's World
- Empowering Fathers
- Leadership, Mobility, and Prosperity
- Expanding Opportunities for Families


The basketball games that were scheduled on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 vs Abbeville have been canceled and will be played at home on Friday, February 14, 2025.

We are excited to start the JV and Varsity basketball season on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Admission will be $8.00 and only cash will be accepted. Doors will open 45 minutes before game time. A clear bag policy will be enforced.

If you have a student currently taking English 2, Biology, or US History, please view the attached letter for information about the upcoming EOC (End-of-Course) tests.
