Good Morning. This is a reminder that Wednesday, August 21st, is an early release day for students. They will be fed breakfast and lunch before they leave for the day. Schools will dismiss at 11:30 AM. If you have any questions, please call the front office.

There will be a Parent/Player meeting on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 6 pm in the MMS gym. All Fall student-athletes and parents are invited to attend.
We are excited to have you back. We would like to go over some information before school starts. Students should arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 AM. Please make sure students are in compliance with the dress code policy Students will receive an updated schedule in the morning if applicable.
Our last day of the year. We hope you can join us for the awards day. Gym doors open at 8:00 AM. Please check with your chief and ensure they have signed up for field day activities on the Google form in their email.
Remember that attendance will count tomorrow, as well.

Friday and Tuesday are half days for students. Please remember that these days still count towards school year attendance.
8th graders tomorrow on the field trip. Students must be in dress code but do not have to wear a uniform. We will be leaving at 8:30 sharp. Students will need a ride to pick them up at the back of the school at 4:00 PM. Lunch is provided at Urban Air, but students may bring snacks and drinks to the park. Limited cooler space will be provided. Students may also bring a towel/blanket to sit on while at the park.
On the morning of Tuesday (May 28), students will go directly to the gym after breakfast at 8:15 for our sixth and seventh grade awards ceremony. Parents are welcome to join us for an informal ceremony. This will be informal as students will be dressed for field day that will begin directly afterwards. Parents may enter and exit at the MMS gym doors. We will use our metal detectors and clear bag policy. Students will be recognized for World Class Effort, World Class Performance, and World Class Behavior.
Students will be receiving an email on Thursday to sign up for event rotations for Field Day. We are so proud of how hard our students have worked this year and are looking forward to celebrating and having some fun, too.

The 1A State Track & Field meet will take place on Thursday (5-16-24) at Spring Valley High School starting at 5 pm. We have several student-athletes representing MHS and we wish all the them the best of luck! Go Chief!!
