New Hire Information
Congratulations and welcome to the McCormick County School District family! Here is some important information:
1. Salary
Certified-Your salary is based on your years of experience and degree status, as determined by the State Department of Education. If you are a 190-day employee (teacher) starting at the beginning of the year, your first pay date is August 10. All staff members are required to receive their paycheck through direct deposit.
Classified-Your salary is on a scale or a range, depending on your position and experience, your salary will be determined using the scale or range
2. Benefits
All employees working at least 30 hours a week will be offered benefits. You will have an appointment with the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to complete all documentation for your benefits.
3. Technology
All staff members will be issued a @mcsd1.org email address. All certified staff members will be issued a device (laptop or chromebook) to utilize as well.
